Goals
The Guyana Film Association is dedicated to elevating Guyana’s presence on the global film stage. Our membership brings together accomplished creatives from Guyana. the Guyanese diaspora and beyond, including British Academy Award winner Lynette Linton, Golden Globe nominee Karen Chapman and many more Talented Guyanese film, supporting services and creative talent .
Our goal is to foster a thriving film ecosystem in Guyana by supporting local talent, creating opportunities for industry development, and promoting authentic Guyanese stories to the world. Through collaboration, advocacy, and training, the Association aims to position Guyana as a dynamic hub for film, television, and digital media.
